Ten designers. One historic Milan venue. A showcase that moved from couture and bridalwear to fine jewellery and contemporary womenswear — and then pointed the season ahead to Paris.

On 25 September 2026, Fashion Week Studio transformed Milan’s historic Palazzina Appiani into an evening of international fashion, bringing together ten independent designers whose collections spanned craftsmanship, cultural heritage, and the evolving language of contemporary luxury. The venue, dressed with elegant floral arrangements and filled with influencers, celebrities, fashion creatives, and industry guests arriving in striking ensembles, carried the runway’s spirit into every corner of the room.

“Fashion becomes storytelling, cultural dialogue and artistic expression.” — Fashion Week Studio on the vision behind its Milan showcase

The Milan presentation was the latest chapter in Fashion Week Studio’s S/S27 international season, with Paris already confirmed as the next destination. Founded in 2017, and with more than 450 runway shows and showcases produced across Paris, Milan, and London, the platform has built a global creative community around originality, craftsmanship, and authentic storytelling. The Milan showcase gave that community its most vivid expression yet this season.

Fashion Week Studio’s Milan S/S27 showcase at Palazzina Appiani brought together ten designers from around the world, with collections spanning couture, bridalwear, fine jewellery, and contemporary womenswear.

DCASSO Custom — Rinascita Nera

Houston-based luxury label DCASSO Custom opened the Milan showcase with Rinascita Nera, meaning “Black Renaissance.” Designer Demitric Simmons drew on his personal journey, classic European tailoring, architecture and the transformative power of clothing to explore the relationship between resilience, individuality and presence. Sophisticated womenswear and select menswear came together through classic tailoring techniques, contemporary silhouettes, rich textures and bold colour. Premium natural fabrics and refined construction reinforced the brand’s philosophy of enduring luxury. Each look balanced strength with sophistication, and Rinascita Nera set a powerful opening tone for the entire evening.

Dawn Bradbury Designs

Virginia-based designer Dawn Bradbury presented fashion as an expression of faith, resilience and effortless luxury. Vibrant silk was transformed into flowing kaftans, dresses and versatile separates designed to move naturally from relaxed daytime elegance to sophisticated evenings. Caribbean landscapes, global journeys, and the beauty of creation inspired the collection, and the result carried a strong sense of freedom and movement. Bradbury places particular emphasis on versatility, allowing luminous silk and fluid silhouettes to celebrate comfort without sacrificing glamour. In Milan, the collection became an expressive presentation of faith, beauty, travel and the confidence that comes from embracing an authentic sense of self.

YOSHIMI OTANI DRESS — Sen no Tsubasa

The crane stood at the centre of YOSHIMI OTANI DRESS‘s Milan presentation. Sen no Tsubasa — A Thousand Wings, One Destiny — offered a poetic exploration of transformation, connection, and rebirth across a ten-look collection that Yoshimi Otani personally designed, patterned, and crafted in Japan. Original crane-patterned textiles, feathers, flowing organza and sculptural silhouettes expressed a journey from stillness to flight. A palette of white, black, red and gold gave the collection a striking visual identity, and each look represented its own story while the collection as a whole celebrated individuality, connection and transformation. Milan provided a fitting international stage for Otani’s vision of fashion as a vehicle for confidence and hope.

Rochie Couture Finland — FIORI DI PASSIONE

An all-scarlet vision of love, passion, courage and celebration arrived on the runway with FIORI DI PASSIONE from Rochie Couture Finland. Founded by Filipino-Finnish designer Rochie Malunes, the independent couture house brings Filipino craftsmanship together with the refined elegance of Scandinavian design. Sculptural silhouettes, intricate handwork and statement occasionwear combined for a collection that felt both powerful and deeply personal. Dramatic volume and architectural construction gave the runway presence an intensity matched only by the vivid scarlet palette itself. The collection brought two distinctive cultural influences — the heart and artistry of the Philippines with the sophistication and restraint of Finnish design — into a single, commanding couture statement.

Melissa Tyson Designs — Golden Sunshine

Inspired by her daughter and the beauty of the sun, sand and sea, American fine-jewellery designer Melissa Tyson presented Golden Sunshine, a deeply personal celebration of love and individuality. Designed for free-spirited couples, the collection features one-of-a-kind engagement rings and wedding bands incorporating fantasy-cut Montana sapphires, yellow and champagne diamonds, recycled gold, and Tyson’s signature hand-hammered textures. Her appreciation for nature, organic forms and personal storytelling produces jewellery that feels both timeless and distinctly individual. In Milan, Tyson collaborated with Ann Marie Bride and Francisca Tornero, with her jewellery presented alongside their runway looks and bringing fine jewellery directly into the wider fashion conversation.

Ann Marie Bride — Elan

Elan gave modern bridalwear a more architectural, expressive character, presented by Turkish bridal house Ann Marie Bride. Moving beyond traditional bridal conventions, the collection explored what contemporary bridalwear becomes when classical craftsmanship meets a more experimental perspective. Sculptural silhouettes, sheer tulle, layered textures, distinctive draping and three-dimensional appliqués created depth and movement, balancing refinement with fearless individuality. Each look reflected a woman stepping into her own power while preserving the elegance expected from couture bridal design. Presented in collaboration with Melissa Tyson Designs, whose fine jewellery accompanied the looks, Elan contributed to one of Milan’s most memorable celebrations of contemporary romance.

Francisca Tornero — METAMORFOSIS

Transformation became the central language of METAMORFOSIS, the collection presented by Chilean designer, researcher and academic Francisca Tornero. Produced in limited editions in Chile, the collection brought together textile experimentation, innovation and cultural storytelling for a global audience. Inspired by constant change, Metamorfosis explored the tension between fragility and strength, uncertainty and possibility. Sculptural silhouettes, manipulated textiles, natural silks and considered interventions gave physical form to the internal transformations that shape who we become. Presented in collaboration with Melissa Tyson Designs, whose fine jewellery accompanied the runway looks, the collection approached fashion as both material and memory, translating emotional evolution into tangible form.

By Vizcarra — I CIGNI

Black and white emerged as two expressions of the same essence in I CIGNI, a couture and jewellery narrative founded and creatively directed by Katty Vizcarra. The collection explored contrast, evolution, and strength, with one expression representing enduring sensitivity and the other emerging character. Rooted in Colombian craftsmanship, the brand combines handmade artistry with Swarovski and Preciosa crystals alongside a powerful feminine narrative inspired by Latin American culture. Central to the collection was the White Swan, representing purity, silence and elegance at the beginning of an inner transformation. During the Milan presentation, Andrea Sorzano embodied the White Swan in an ethereal silhouette adorned with By Vizcarra jewellery, creating an image of serene yet powerful femininity. The collection explored a transformation that does not change who we are but instead reveals what has always existed within us.

MYA Collection — House of Peonies

Peonies inspired House of Peonies, the Spring/Summer 2027 collection from Athens-based MYA Collection. The Greek fashion brand brought together expressive occasionwear and statement silhouettes designed for women who embrace confidence, individuality and being seen. Lace, chiffon, satin, sequins, feathers, tulle, and dramatic fringes created rich texture and movement, balancing softness with strength. Rooted in Greek craftsmanship and produced in Greece, MYA Collection approaches fashion as self-expression, designing pieces meant to become part of the moments, memories, and stories of the women who wear them. In Milan, the collection offered a vivid celebration of modern femininity and the expressive power of contemporary Greek design.

Reem Al Jesmi — Afterglow

Fashion designer Reem Al Jesmi presented her Afterglow collection at a fashion show held in Milan alongside Fashion Week Studio. Inspired by the colours of the sky after sunset, from shades of turquoise and blue to gold, black, and red, the collection captures the beauty of moments whose impact lingers even after the light has faded. The designs combine femininity with a strong presence, with careful attention to details, fabrics, and embroidery that reflect the Reem Al Jesmi brand’s identity. The collection conveys the idea that true elegance leaves a lasting impression, much like the glow that remains in the sky after sunset.

A Global Fashion Community in Milan

Together, these ten collections embodied what Fashion Week Studio has built since its founding in 2017: a platform where designers from different cultures, countries and creative traditions share a single international stage. From couture and bridal artistry to fine jewellery, contemporary womenswear, Japanese craftsmanship, and Latin American design, the Milan showcase made visible, in one evening, the diversity of perspectives and traditions shaping global fashion.

Beyond the runway, the evening brought together a vibrant community of fashion insiders and enthusiasts. Palazzina Appiani, filled with influencers, celebrities, fashion personalities, and devoted fashion lovers, arrived in striking ensembles, carrying the runway’s spirit throughout the venue. Elegant floral arrangements completed the atmosphere, adding refinement and celebration to a night that already had plenty of both.

The Milan showcase marked another defining moment in Fashion Week Studio’s international journey and reaffirmed the platform’s commitment to bringing diverse creative voices together. As S/S27 continues, Fashion Week Studio looks ahead to Paris and beyond, with a track record of more than 450 runway shows and showcases across three major fashion capitals giving its next chapter real weight.
